Yes. Nova Bath Design & Reno is fully licensed and insured in Ontario. We carry general liability insurance on every project and are happy to provide proof before any work begins.

Yes, we renovate condo bathrooms regularly. Most condo projects require board approval before work begins. We're familiar with this process and can help you navigate the requirements.

Our typical starting prices:

Yes — 100%. We provide a written contract before any work begins. The price in that contract is what you pay. No surprise additions, no "we found something" upcharges.

The only exceptions: client-requested scope changes mid-project, or concealed defects and pre-existing damage discovered during work that require repair before we can proceed — in either case, we document it, explain the impact, and get your approval before doing anything additional.

Zero deposit required until work actually begins. You can receive your written quote and lock in your price for 60 days — all with no money down.

A deposit is only collected on the day we start. If plans change before that, you can cancel with no fees and no questions asked.

Schluter® is a premium Swiss-engineered waterproofing system installed beneath your tile. Unlike traditional methods, the Schluter® KERDI system creates a fully bonded, 100% waterproof membrane that prevents water from reaching the subfloor or wall framing.

Poor waterproofing is the #1 reason tiles crack, grout fails, and water damage appears behind walls years later. We use Schluter® exclusively — it's why we can offer a 3-year labour warranty with confidence.

Most standard renovations — tub-to-shower conversions, retiling, fixture replacements — do not require a permit in Ottawa.

Permits are needed for moving plumbing stacks, adding a new bathroom, or structural changes. If your project requires one, we'll advise you and assist with the application.

3-year warranty on all labour and installation. If anything related to our workmanship needs attention within that period, we come back and fix it at no charge.

Manufacturer warranties on tiles, fixtures, and Schluter® products are separate — we provide documentation for everything used in your project.

Call or text us directly — we respond quickly. If it falls under our workmanship warranty, we schedule a return visit and resolve it at no cost to you.

We do a final walkthrough with you before closing any project. If something doesn't meet your expectations on day one, we address it before we leave.

Daily cleanup is included on every project. At the end of each work day we tidy the area, remove debris, and protect adjacent spaces. On the final day we do a full cleanup and haul away all waste and packaging.
