We couldn’t be happier with the work Mike and his team did on our bathroom renovation. They took our old basement powder room and completely transformed it into a beautiful full bathroom with a shower. Mike and the whole team were great to deal with from start to finish. They were organized, efficient, and really took pride in their work. One thing that stood out to us was how clean they kept everything. They took the time to protect the surrounding areas, kept dust to a minimum, and made sure the work area was cleaned up regularly. The finished bathroom looks fantastic, and the whole process was much easier than we expected. Our house was built in 1901, so ours was a rather challenging renovation for a variety of reasons. The old bathroom — which, although a full bathroom, is tiny — had last been updated in the 1960s or thereabouts, and was leaking into the room below. It also came with surprises behind the walls and under the floor, from previous "franken-renovations." In addition, we did not want to expand the size of the bathroom, as it would have meant giving up an adjacent study. Despite the challenges, and without an initial idea in mind, it took very little discussion for us to all come up with a design concept we liked. From the beginning, Mykhailo (Mike) was responsive and enthusiastic about our ideas, while also guiding us gently to the best possible solutions for our tiny space. Instead of an old-fashioned clawfoot tub, for example, Mykhailo suggested a custom shower with built-in niche and glass shower doors, given that we only ever shower, and have no kids or dogs to bathe. Mykhailo and his team — including the amazing Mischa and Anatoliy — were cheerful and funny throughout the process, even when the bathroom did its best to drive us all to drink. Most importantly, they were always willing to look for functional and attractive solutions with which we could all be happy, and were incredibly quick to fix anything we didn't love. They were also very flexible and easygoing about scheduling when life got in the way. The result is an elegant and pretty black and white Art Deco  bathroom with brass accents, which perfectly reflects our personalities and tastes. Just as importantly, it also reflects the age and character of our 125-year-old house, with a unique combination of period details, modern functionality, and contemporary style. It was such a positive experience, and we liked working with Mykhailo's team so much, that we almost wish we had another bathroom to do. (Video is from before final touches were added.)

My wife and I used Nova Bath Design to install a new shower in our bathroom.  We worked closely with the owner Mike on the job. His professionalism was excellent.  He picked up the new shower unit and brought it to our house. The removal of the old shower was completed quickly and without a mess. The new unit it was installed quickly without incident and they removed all garbage. We are extremely happy with the quality of Mike's workmanship.
